Week 2 : Species #1 Video Process10/3/2021 I had a great week 2, I completed my video from what I did my first week and I like how It came out. At first I planned on doing 12 fish 12 videos, but I thought about it and noticed how much that would actually be. I am learning 3 different processes so doing 6 fish and 6 videos is a lot better than what I was going to do. Deciding to take this path will help me a lot because I will be able to learn more with the more time I have. Since I am learning how to clean and cook a fish while also video and editing that video, I know that will be a huge workload to do every single week. So that is why I am going to catch, clean, cook and film the process for one week. Then the next week is going to be the editing of the video. So my first video... it was pretty good, but no where close to the professionals. I feel like I can eventually get to that point closer to the end but right now it is still a work in progress. My video flowed very well but I feel like the actually filming I could've done better with. I felt like I could've done some different things and talked a little more. When talkin more I see that I need to explain some more things. I can't be shy when I am doing this. I need to give the viewers more of an understanding. This is something I can easily improve on. Also I need to be more careful of my surroundings. Since I am outside most of the time I need to notice the sound that can be picked up in the video. For example in the last clip where I am eating the bream there is actually multiple sounds that you can hear. I feel like it makes the video less enjoyable. I am definitely going to take these things into consideration for my future weeks. I am also going to watch a lot of more videos and take some notes while watching them so I remember what to do during my videos. Onto week 3!

In my project I am doing a Catch, Clean, and Cook for different species of fish. I will be making a video for this 12 week long progress. I am going to learn how to clean and cook certain types of fish. I will also be learning a video type process. I will be learning how to edit and make a good looking and flowing video. I will be learning these things mainly from YouTube. I also learning some things from my father. My goal is just to have an awesome video that shows how I got better throughout the progress with cleaning, cooking, and making a video. I am always watching fisherman on YouTube that have really cool catch, clean, and cook videos and it really motivates me to learn what they do. I am going to be fishing at many different lakes, ponds, rivers, and even the coast. I think I have will have the most fun at the coast. I know I will have this project all completed when I have cleaned and cooked certain fish properly and I will also know when I make an awesome video with good edits and quality. Catch, Clean, and Cook process of my first week and first species was completed on Sunday. Only thing left to do is get the videos from my camera and start editing. I caught then cleaned then cooked two bream. I caught a total of three bream and one bass. I was only focused on bream today so I threw back the bass. That species will be for another week. When the project started I made sure I got a plan of which type of fish, each week I was going to catch, clean, and cook. For my first I wanted to do bream, so I watched videos in class and at home on how to clean and cook bream. It was a super cool experience actually getting to transfer my knowledge that I received into actually physically doing it. Although for the video progress I definetly need some work. I haven't watched all of the videos fully but I was already catching some things that I should've done that would improve the video. I think that is very good I'm picking up on things. Knowing that I can't wait to see where I am at, at the end and even in the middle. Onto week 2!
